Negro Held in Fish Mit Burglary
Earl Eugene Murphy a 29 year old Negro is held by Hempstead Sheriff Jimmie Griffin in connection with an attempted burglary of Hope Fish Market on West Third Street last night. The burglar fled when spotted. Murphy identified in a lineup and by a hat drop. He was recently released after 90 days on another burglary conviction. Burglary charges will be filed with help from city and state police.
