Rails Bill Approval Expected

A sharply divided House Commerce Committee is expected to approve President Johnsons proposal to head off a rail strike though many members dont like it. Deliberations resume today after plans for a session last Friday were canceled. Leaders hope to bring the measure before the House Wednesday with committee approval today and Rules Committee clearance Tuesday. One week remains before the end of a no strike no lockout period.
