The National Weather Service projects a 20 percent chance of showers in Arkansas midweek as a Bermuda high blocks systems to the north. A strong high pressure ridge is expected to keep most fronts north of the state for several days.
The Hope Star reports very warm temperatures and humid weather continuing through Wednesday with a forecast of similar heat into Saturday. Highs in the 90s, Lows mostly in the 70s, no rain statewide. Weather data cites various city low temperatures and an Experiment Station 24 hour high 91 low 64 for Tuesday.

A Senate Watergate report says in the months before the break in E Howard Hunt Jr asked CIA chiefs to direct him to retired agents skilled in lock picking and burglary. The document contradicts public CIA testimony that Hunt had no contact with the agency after Aug 21 1971.
