A blaze at the Park Cotton Gin in Manitou Oklahoma damaged 40 of 65 trailers loaded with unprocessed cotton, with two nearby homes suffering roof damage. Firefighters from Snyder Frederick Altus Tipton and Lawton fought winds 30 to 40 mph for over three hours. The gin itself sustained no damage and the loss is estimated at about 100000.
