County Superintendent E E Austin was badly injured when his Ford sedan was struck by a southbound L A train at Fifth street crossing early Monday. James Bowden, riding with him, was unhurt. Two Hurt in Crash at Elm and B Streets
Sinclair Brady a bookkeeper at Hope Building Material and his sister Miss Frances Jean Brady were injured in an auto collision at North Elm and Avenue B Sunday around 3:30 pm. They were treated at Josephine hospital and later returned home. Brady sustained head injuries and severe bruising while his sister had a nose injury and body bruises. A third passenger in Brady’s car and the other driver Beaty Walker from Little Rock escaped unharmed. The two cars were badly damaged and Brady was dragged about 20 feet on wet pavement.
