Two Men Rescued After Plane Crash Off Florida Coast

Fire at Moscow Rossiya Hotel injures guests and traps many

Firefighters controlled a blaze racing up an elevator shaft into the upper floors of the Rossiya Hotel in Moscow. Witnesses saw guests injured or killed as hundreds fled in the night, with some escaping by bed sheet rope and others jumping from windows. Tass cited technical trouble in elevator motors as the cause. U.S. officials noted about 170 Americans were present. no American injuries were reported. The north wing burned for over three hours on Friday night and into today. The hotel stands near Red Square and has 3200 rooms.
