Secretary Hyde announced a $300 maximum loan from a $99 million fund for crop production financing. Golirious Muldrow, Hope resident and alleged police character, was jailed Saturday after a three hour chase by officers. He sought refuge in several Hope negro homes, slipping from house to house to elude capture. Muldrow faces petit larceny charges for taking merchandise from the New York store when clerks stopped his escape, shedding his overcoat in the process.

The plan aims to raise the price of silver from 25 to 75 cents, with full committee action possible next week.

An ultimatum to Chinese forces in Jehol demanded Kailu evacuation, but China plans to ignore it, risking a major battle.
County officials announced that all school warrants must be presented to the county treasurer in Washington for registration. Warrants issued before February 9, 1933, will be registered and paid in issuance order under a new state law. holders have until March 11, 1933, to register warrants issued February 9, 1933. After March 11, registration and payment will follow presentation order.
