Frank Rooney Construction Co. submitted the low bid of 2,707,000 for a new two-story brick fine arts building at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The facility, between the library and the chancellor's home, will house the Art and Music Departments with a 325-seat recital hall and an art gallery. Expected ready date is early 1977, funded by a legislative appropriation and a 1 million bond issue. Massachusetts colonists in 1764 began to resist enforcement of British tax laws.
