Congressmen to Attend Paris Air Show as Observers

About 60 congressmen planned to observe the Paris International Air Show from May 26 to June 4. Henry Haynes missing after planned Lonoke trip

A Lonoke County plantation manager A Fletcher 45 was reported missing since Friday. His wife Mary urged officials to begin a search after he failed to return home. Three witnesses placed him driving toward Lonoke around 11:30 am Friday but none saw him in town.

Arkansan Dies in Crash Near Fallon Nevada

Lt. Cindy Walter W. Lambert, 36, a Holly Grove Arkansas native and Navy pilot, was killed when his A4B Skyhawk crashed during a night observation exercise near Fallon Nevada. Lambert earned 112 Air Medals for 115 combat missions over North Vietnam and had served on the Alameda commander's staff since January 1966 after graduating from the Naval Academy in Annapolis in 1954.

Wyley J. Elliott of Camden was elected vice president and president elect of the Arkansas Education Association after ballots were tabulated Tuesday. Bombing mistake led to 105 deaths in Lang Vei village
