Michigan House lawmakers push SMG license plan for cannabis caregivers
Michigan lawmakers introduced House Bills 5300 through 5302 to update caregiver licensing for medical cannabis. The proposed Michigan Cannabis Safety Act would require caregivers to obtain a Specialty Medical Grower license and restrict sales to a single patient, cap plant growth at 12, and reduce current caregiver sales limits from five patients.

Marsman files to run for Allegan County commissioner
Arpan Lobodoll and Sentinel Holland Austin Marsman a 21yearold member of the Martin Public Schools board has filed to run for a board of commissioners seat in Allegan County next year. He seeks the district currently represented by Commissioner Rick Cain in Martin Plainwell Gun Lake and Wayland. He must refile as districts are redrawn. Marsman says he wants to bring a new generation of leadership to the county.
