Former public official charged with embezzlement
Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette announced four felony counts of embezzlement by a public official against William Blake of Bedford a former 36th District Court officer. Blake allegedly embezzled about 16000 in judgment money from defendants between 2013 and 2014 and will appear in court March 6 for a preexam conference.

Former state rep candidate charged with sexual exploitation
William John Easterling Jr. a one time candidate for Pennsylvania House District 89, is charged in federal court with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child and attempted exploitation, plus a child pornography count. Prosecutors say he directed a 16 year old to record himself in sex acts in 2015 and sought other youths aged 13 to 15 for similar acts. He faces 15 to 30 years on each count.
