Holland Christian adds nature-based kindergarten in 2018

Seed Library at Herrick offers 78 seed varieties and events
The Herrick District Library unveils a seed library cycle for locally grown plants with 78 seed varieties, five packets per visit, and one of each variety. Ben Cohen of Small House Farm kicks off with "Community Knowledge: Planting and Saving Seeds" on March 6 at 6 30 p.m. in the library auditorium as part of Living Sustainably Along the Lake Shore. Master Gardener Shannon Campau will lead summer classes to support community gardening efforts.
