Anti mask rally in Grand Rapids hosts mask burning event
A couple hundred protesters gathered in the DeltaPlex parking lot to denounce Michigan COVID-19 health orders led by Stand Up Michigan co founder Ron Armstrong. Speakers criticized mask mandates and urged attendees to burn face coverings, some scrawling words like tyranny on masks. The statewide mask mandate was set to expire July 1, with vaccination status affecting current restrictions.
