Sandra Wennersten died May 11 2018 from congestive heart failure and COPD at home on hospice after 18 months. Born to Julia Dykstra Myrick and Carl Myrick, she married Dr. George Wennersten and helped fund his MSU veterinary training. They later started Robbins Road Animal Clinic in Grand Haven in 1964 and moved to Holland to be near family. She leaves two daughters Jolee Wennersten and Rebecca Baar and two grandchildren Phillip and Haley Baar, a sister Carlene Hartman, lifelong friend Gail Tardiff, and will have no funeral service with a future celebration planned.
