Speedy crash damages Allendale Speedway gas station

Ottawa County deputies responded to a two vehicle crash at Allendale Speedway off Lake Michigan Drive on June 29. Nathan Barrett 18 Hudsonville drove a 2005 Suburban while Renae Jones 35 Allendale drove a 2004 Yukon. Jones Veered to avoid Barrett and the SUVs sideswiped. Jones’ vehicle struck the gas station front, several windows and the door were damaged. Barrett was cited for failing to yield right of way.
