Zeeland’s Inman named Holland Sentinel Swimmer of the Year

Zeeland senior Katelyn Inman earned the Holland Sentinel Swimmer of the Year after leading the Zeeland team as a four year OK Rainbow 500-yard freestyle titleist and posting state meet times. Teammate Sadie Huizenga claimed Diver of the Year for the second straight season as the squad reflected on the final year’s performances and leadership.

Hope College honors John Patnott as top 100 swimming coach

Hope College coach John Patnott, founder of the college’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs, is named to the CSCAA 100 Greatest Coaches list celebrating the association’s 100th birthday. Patnott led Hope’s teams from 1978-79 to 2018-19, winning 20 MIAA women’s titles and 12 men’s titles, with a dual meet record of 259-45 for the Flying Dutch and 178-88-1 for the Flying Dutchmen.
