Samaritas Seeks Funds for Holland Senior Housing Project
In Holland a 48 unit affordable senior housing building for ages 55 to 75 is planned on the vacant 40 W. 16th St. site. The project, proposed by Samaritas, gained city council approval Sept 19 and seeks state funding, with Schneider & Smith guiding design and financing timelines expected to span months. The site favors walkability near senior resources and downtown access, and the complex will target medically independent residents with no medical or food assistance provided.
