Kaat finally inducted to Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022
Zeeland native Jim Kaat, after decades near election, is elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame by the Golden Era Committee. He joins Tony Oliva Minnie Minoso and Gil Hodges with Buck ONeil and Bud Fowler also named for 2022 induction in Cooperstown. Kaat pitched at Hope College and won 283 games with 16 Gold Gloves.
