Rainier Beer Quality Deemed Pure in San Francisco Test
Edmond O Neal reports on August 21 1905 a thorough analysis of Rainier Beer from Seattle Brewing and Malting Company finding no antiseptics or preservatives such as salicylic benzoic boracic formalin or fluorides. He tested two more samples from Alameda County dealers with the same results concluding the beer is of good quality brewed from pure malt and on par with coast standards.
