Hillside Varsity Falls 25-13 to Cranford Comets

Hillside High School's varsity football lost to Cranford 25-13 on October 24. Key moments included a disputed 65 yard pitchout to Richard Schlenger for Cranford and multiple Hillside drives stalling near the goal line. Brams wins at Chatham on Oct 21, then Hillside dominates Cranford and New Providence in a double dual on Oct 23. Brams, Krajcech, Wood, Ryan, and Aitkenson post top ten finishes as Hillside defeats two opponents on challenging hill-then-down course.

Hillside High Soccer Team Drops Three Games

Hillside High School’s soccer squad played three contests last week all ending in losses. A rained out match rescheduled against Scotch Plains added to the three-game run, with the Maroon and Gray Rooters shut out in each contest. On October 20 Berkeley Heights edged them 2-0 as Cary Dolbier tallied both goals.
