The board of education received Five thousand four hundred forty nine dollars for a special needs pilot program at Hillside Ave School to develop a work training plan enabling pupils to be employable after class. John Bawden aged 47 of 146 Fairbanks Street was arrested for drunken driving after his vehicle struck Vito Vulturo's parked car at 9 30 p m on Woodruff Avenue near Hollywood Avenue.
