Three Injured As Truck Overturns Near Newark Route 29
Three Newark residents were slightly injured Sunday night when their truck overturned on Route 29 near Doremus Place and Rewined after the driver said the steering wheel locked. Passengers Zenon Siekirski, 20, Michael Bonto, 19, and James Bonito, 99, were treated at the scene by Dr. Milton M. Lilien. The truck had to be towed away.

Nine Tires Stolen From Gas Station near Newark Line
Nine tires valued at 227.09 were stolen early Saturday from the Esso station on Route 29 near the Newark city line. Owner Austin Marshall of Roselle Park reported the theft. Entry was through a side window. Albert Bond of 229 Hawthorne Avenue Newark said a flash camera valued at 56 was taken from his car parked nearby on Friday night.
