Hillside Youth to Represent Union County in Detroit Model Flight Meet
Eric Madsen a Hillside High School junior, 15, and Lawrence Scarinizi Jr 19 of Summit were chosen June 14 at the Union County model airplane meet in Warinanco Park Elizabeth. Sponsored by Union County Plymouth dealers with the Elizabeth Daily Journal as co sponsor the pair earned spots for an August 20 to 25 international meet in Detroit. Eric entered the stunt competition and won third place, entering his third meet after about two and a half years building model planes.
