Hillside firemen finished third in a six mile New York harbor race against Clark Elizabeth and Union departments. The crew lost footing after five minutes, had eight of ten rowers, started at Front Street Elizabeth, and were steered by coxswain Bob Krezl with 12 rowers including Ortstein Caswell Fer rara Cupido Issler DiLeo Heller Hanlein Bat taille.

Library to host Bicentennial tea in Hillside
