Missionary Giordano to Speak at Hillside Faith Tabernacle

Rev Anthony Giordano missionary to Uruguay will appear Sunday morning at Hillside Faith Tabernacle 383 Yale Ave for 930 and 1045 AM services with his wife and children. He founded the Assemblies of God Evangelistic Center in Montevideo and conducted radio broadcasts across Uruguay and into Argentina Brazil and Paraguay. He helped establish churches in interior Uruguay and did pioneer work among the Guarani in Paraguay and Cuba. He will discuss his ministry and the growth of the Assemblies of God in South America with a display of native costumes and curios. Pastor Bob Erdies invites the public.

Hillside Pop Warner approves pool plans and bids

The Hillside Pop Warner league held its monthly meeting at the Hillside P A L Building. A new off season training program will start February to June with Saturday sessions and films for boys aged 10 to 13. Dues are $3 for boys and $1 for adults without children. registrations also enroll boys with the Hillside P A L. The 1964 schedule places Hillside in the northern conference with Irvington Bayonne Union Clark Rahway Selin and Montclair. bowl games tentatively set with Orangeburg NY and Sayre Woods South. The township approved final pool plans from Spars Inc and advertised for bids due March 10. Mayor Ackerman praised community participation and noted over 800 membership applications.

Will Honor Oneil At Sinai Dinner

Boy Scout Appeal Made To Kiwanis

Plan for 2nd Hillside barber shop concert announced

Hillside Rotary Club revealed plans for a second barber shop quartet concert at Hillside High School on a May Friday evening to benefit youth programs.
