Hillside high teen social program proves popular
Hillside junior class president Miss Jane Helmstetter organized a two week trial recreational program at the girls gym with outside sponsorship from Hillside Recreation Department head Peter G Humanik. The first Friday drew growing crowds with activities like basketball volleyball ping pong and dancing increasing turnout after an away game. Supervisors Peter Delucea and Mrs Andrew Miller praised the event and hope for refreshments soon.

Dedication Ceremony Set For February 23
The B may B'nai B'rith Women of Hillside present an American flag to the Hillside PAL at a dedication ceremony on Sunday February 23 1969 at 1 00 pm at the PAL Building. Veterans who served in Viet Nam may join an honor guard by contacting Mrs Midward Masarsky at 451 6736. The flag flown over Washington DC will be dedicated in memory of Hillside youths who died in Viet Nam.
