No Court Refund Leads to Larceny Charge in Newark
Miller, Russell of 483 Jackson Avenue Elizabeth, convicted of larceny in Municipal Court last Thursday, faced a new charge after an August 4 visit to the Violations Bureau. A $5 bill was found missing from the cash drawer and Miller, once released on $100 bail, blamed for the theft. Hillside detectives arrested him hours after the incident. Also in Newark, Jerry Bardin had his license suspended two weeks and was fined $20 for speeding 43 mph in a 25 mph zone. Willie T. Smith received a $25 fine and two-week license suspension for careless driving.

Leo A. Fagan Sr died after a long illness and funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Haeberle and Barth Irvington and a solemn high mass at Christ the King Church.
