Police Assist Stork With Baby Girl Delivery
A baby girl arrived early at 4 30 am Friday and was delivered to Mrs Gilda Schwartz of 254 Winans Avenue by Police Sgt Paul S De Graw with Patrolmen Anthony Lordi and John Aylward on scene. Mother and child were taken to Newark Beth Israel Hospital by Hillside ambulance crew Thomas Greene and Leo Goldberg. Greene presented Sgt De Graw with two US bonds in keeping with the custom.

Youths Fined 600 for Mischief Rampage in Three Towns
Two teenagers from Hillside and Irvington faced Magistrate Henry Goldher in Municipal Court and were fined a total of 600 after 12 counts of malicious mischief.
