At the Elizabeth Town and Country Club the Woman's Club of Hillside elected officers for 1962 63 with Mrs Ralph A Schwartz as President and Mrs John G Walsh as 1st vice president The club also chose department chairs and standing committees and honored district officials who spoke at the meeting A new member Mrs Edwin Hotchkiss joined The event featured a ceramic and fine arts display and program notes for upcoming activities

At the board reorganization meeting Thomas Greene Jr of 1279 Robert Sr was elected chairman for the ensuing year. Greene a physical education teacher was appointed to the commission April 1 1954 and has served as chairman in 1957.
