Wives of new High Point College faculty were honored at a Saturday tea hosted by Mrs. David Cole 1008 Emery Cir. Fifty to sixty guests attended to meet honorees including Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Leo Weeks. Decorations featured college colors purple and white with white carnation corsages and purple ribbons.

Miss Susan Muckenfuss was honored at a floating bridal shower in the Friends Meeting House library on Quaker Lane Thursday evening. A gold chrysanthemum corsage and an electric mixer were gifts amid gold and green decorations and a white refreshment table.
