Entirely steel with two gasoline engines, it is cheaper and more maneuverable than standard tugs, built in about a week versus months for traditional designs. Captain Stanley A. Hunt notes several hundred ordered from Chrysler Corp. A two man crew suffices, far fewer than the 11 or 12 on regular tugs, and any automotive driver could operate it.
