Nutritionist Criticizes the FDA in Public Lecture
Dr. Carlton Fredericks denounced the FDA as wielding ruthless power in a Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church talk. He urged Congress to pass a bill allowing vitamins to be sold in health stores and opposed a competing measure to classify supplements as drugs. He cited examples of regulatory overreach, claimed consumer harms, and recalled past clashes with regulators and broadcasters.
