Complete Work and Hayworth Springs Road on Saturday
Guilford county completed a three and one third mile concrete road from the city limits to Hayworth Springs. The 16 foot wide six inch reinforced surface used abundant steel and is expected to open to traffic in two weeks. The project began September 27 and finished November 18 despite material delays and bad weather. Local residents praise the progress easing winter travel to the city.
