Two New Members Join High Point Cosmetologists
High Point Cosmetologists welcomed Miss Brenda Buchanan and Mrs George Winters at a Monday meeting held at Bebel Beauty Shop. Hostess Mrs Dan Smith provided refreshments and state Cosmetologists Assn president Mrs Hazel Yodzie attended as a guest observer. The club voted to donate to the T B Sanitarium at McCain and planned a Christmas party with husbands as special guests.

Oak View Demonstrators Awarded Attendance Pins
Mrs. Lillie Westmoreland and Mrs. E. S. Martin earned perfect attendance pins at the Oak View Home Demonstration Club meeting. Hostess Mrs. Orvie Hayworth presented the pins as twenty one members and three guests attended. visitors were welcomed as new members. The program featured Christmas toys by Miss Carolyn Johnson and guidance on toy selection for learning. Plans for a holiday dinner at the R. K. Young home were discussed alongside a report on an arts and crafts meeting in Greensboro by Mrs. Ray Idol. Westmoreland, who presided, also spoke of a Washington trip as county council citizenship leader.
