Nautilus Returns From Atomic Shakedown Cruise
The submarine Nautilus, the world’s only atomic powered craft, returned to Groton Connecticut from a Carib bean shakedown voyage ending at General Dynamics Electric Boat Division. The one week trip from St Thomas in the Virgin Islands completes a routine segment though the shakedown is not yet finished and more sea trials are expected.
