Her husbands father began Bangladesh All music Greensboro since the three glorious Days at White Lake . Where t h e Woodstock generation was born groups have made films about their Tours. None including a Woodstock a can surpass a technically or musically of o r in e r beatle George Harrison so a concert for Harrison and Indian Sitaris Friend Ravi Shankar organized the Benefit concert simply to raise Money for the refugees of Bangladesh. They themselves Are talented enough to carry a whole concert but with the inclusion of Leon Russell Ringo Starr Erie Clapton Billy Preston and inc Surprise appearance of Bob Dylan Harrison and Shankar have assembled the most talented group of musicians Ever on one stage. A concert for Bangladesh a is All music a fact which clearly separates it from a Woodstock and Quot Gimmie shelter in that the latter two had directors who thought they three car wreck injures one Thomasville a three car wreck in Thomasville Early fiday resulted in one injury and $1,450 Worth of damages. Mary Magee Murphy of Trinity was taken to Community general Hospital and treated for facial injuries after a collision involving the car she was driving and a vehicle operated by Kyle Delano Poteat 32, of Salisbury. Had something to say besides just having the music. Harrison meant for the music to say it All and it does. Only once does camera Gimick Ery intrude in the film. During the Ravi Shankar portion split screen is used of show the amazing amount of Eye Contact Between Shankar and Sard player a Akbar Khan. For years Harrison was the third songwriter of the beatles. Since their breakup however he has become the most successful. Although his songs in the movie Are familiar on record the live renditions make them even better. From a my Sweet lord to t h e rocking a a Bangladesh written specifically for the concert Harrison is i n control. Dylan s songs Are also familiar but instead of the old Dylan voice the numbers carry the Nashville twang he took up after his wreck. The variance makes Little difference in the Quality. In this reviewers opinion the Star of the show is Billy Preston. His slow Bluesy a it Tiati a the Way god planned it a with the Asylum choir wailing in the background builds up to a Climax that is the foot stomping St Best. As far As rocking goes. Leon Russell is not too far behind with a Medley of the rolling stones Quot jumping Jack Flash and the humorous husband wife quarrel Ringo Starr a Quot it done to come easy is just that As he struggles to keep his voice in tune with the song. The Only two complaints Are that Erie Clapton does t do a Solo and that the people who run the Janus put the movie in number three which does no to have stereo sound. For top musical entertainment.
