South Central Airlines Plan New Greensboro Airport Service
South Central Airlines will add two arrivals and two departures daily at the Greensboro High Point Winston Salem Airport starting May 29. The six Aztec B planes will serve routes among small towns and major Carolina Virginia Georgia points with Florida expansion later. Departures run at 7 20 a m to Statesville Shelby Greenville Newberry Augusta Statesboro Savannah and Salisbury Charlotte Laurinburg Lumberton with arrivals at 3 15 p m and 3 24 p m connecting to national air networks.

Jack D. Childress of Mount Airy native now residing in High Point becomes sales and technical engineer for Pomona Pipe Products in Greensboro suburb.
