Antigua Elects Youthful Regime Under Walter
In Antigua the 42 year old Prime Minister George Walter leads a cabinet with an average age of 35 replacing Vere Bird who had led for 25 years. Walter's Progressive Labor Party won 13 of 17 seats and Bird was defeated in his district by Walter's brother Selwyn as unemployment nears 40 percent and tourism fuels about 85 percent of income.
