A department store pushes a 40 dollar yearly service plan for a paper cup dispenser, while anecdotes show frequent breakdowns, high repair costs, and late laser guidance. Guilford County Emergency Transportation Service ambulances now communicate directly with Greensboro and High Point hospitals via a new radio system. Owner H C Cliff Stewart and two workers were treated and released for minor injuries at High Point Memorial. Firemen said sparks from an acetylene torch ignited polyfoam pile.
