Wills Defends Response To Icy Highway 311 Bridge
High Point public works chief Carl Wills defends his department for not sending a salt truck after an icy bridge on I-85 over Highway 311. He cites a state responsibility but says any danger to life would override the agreement. Police noted two crashes and six injuries as salt and sand actions were coordinated.
