Diplomas Presented To Seniors At Annual Girl Scout Meeting
At the Keyaunee Area Girl Scout Council annual meeting 24 senior scouts received diplomas. Troop 34 graduates include Barbara Banks and four others. Troop 43 seniors led by Mrs Perkins include Carolyn Atkins and others. Troop 26 graduates include Janice Baldwin and Julie Rogers. Troop 62 seniors include Bertha Burris and others. troop leaders are named.

Keyauwee Area Council voted 150 to 53 not to merge with Piedmont Council after a heated meeting. An amendment excluding Camp Keyauwee and the hut in Thomasville was defeated. The decision delays consolidation, with officials pledging to continue serving girls in the region.

Lady Lions Hear Talk On Cancer
