The funeral for Mrs. Hazel Hiatt wife of Mack S. Hiatt was held at Wesley Memorial church at 11 this morning with Rev. Dr. Cilber T. Rowe and Rev. J. E. Thompson leading brief tributes. She died after the Jamestown tram wreck Sunday night and was born July 30 1882 near High Point.

A six hour blaze in Paris Texas destroyed about 30 city blocks. Loss estimated between 3 and 5 million dollars with no reported deaths.
