A drunk driving charge was entered yesterday against M Jenkins 39 of Fisher Ferry Street. Jenkins posted 300 bond awaiting a hearing set for April 14. Free under 100 bond Gary F Robinson 19 of Rt 5 High Point to appear April 11 on trespass charge. witness Peggy Brewer of National Real Estate testified Robinson was at 201 Montheu Ave after being told to leave.
A two car crash at the Mendenhall Street Highway 29n intersection yesterday left Mrs. Awlie G Odom of Burlington and Edward J. Lester of Atlanta hospitalized. Both were not thought to be critically injured. Drivers Clarence Lee Hugh Odom, 59, of Burlington, and Jesse Lee Lester, 8, of Decatur Ga., were treated and released. Odom faced a charge of failing to yield the right of way.
