World Day of Prayer draws 200 in High Point service
About 200 people representing 30 churches attended the World Day of Prayer at St. Stephen's AME Zion Church. Rev. J. T. Stanley of Greensboro urged reflection on greed and moral decay, calling for courage, unity, and acts of service as others led prayers and songs. An offering supported Church Women United programs.
