Nonagenarian Mrs Worth Active On Greenway Drive
A 90-year-old High Point resident, Mrs. Minnie Kanoy Worth, stays active daily sweeping her walk and avoiding many modern gadgets. The widow lives with her daughter Mrs. Clara Worth Bryan and keeps house, sews, crochets, knits, and tends dishes, laundry, and ironing. Born June 6, 1874, she recalls early schooldays, oak hill life, and a move to Guilford College, later returning to High Point’s Teal estate. Her birthday was celebrated with a tea for about 30 guests.
