Big Water Bills Rise Again In City Rate Recalculation
High Point officials revise sewer charges after a $260000 revenue miscalculation. A 110 percent water based sewer rate plus a $2 service charge raises bills, with $32,000 from the extra per unit rate and about $200000 more from returning to 110 percent. The plan aims to move water and sewer toward self sufficiency for future grants.
