A floral design course opens at Oakview Recreation Center on Wednesday from 9 30 to 11 30 am and Guilford County YDC hosts its seventh annual luau at 7 pm June 18 at Afternoons Delight Club. The High Point International Management Council meets Tuesday at 6 15 pm at the High Point YWCA followed by a project review for 120 long term care beds at 4 pm in the PTCOG room. The YMC in Thomasville sponsors a disco for ages nine to twelve Saturday from 8 am to midnight with two disc jockeys and two free tickets plus a men’s open basketball league begins June 20. A senior citizens day at High Point City Lake runs Saturday 11 am to 4 pm with lunch, speakers, prizes and music.
