Nixon impeachment support grows as public turns against Nixon
Louis Harris reports a June 14 1974 nationwide poll showing a 52 to 35 percent majority favor impeachment and removal, up from 49 to 41 percent a month earlier. A 61 to 28 percent majority backs bringing up impeachment charges in the House, and 73 to 17 percent say Nixon knew about the Watergate cover up as it occurred.
