Princess Anne Thrown In Marshy Jump At Bromont Olympic
Princess Anne of Britain was thrown from Goodwill during cross country at Bromont Quebec as mud kept the course treacherous. She remounted and continued the race despite a mild concussion and bruises while the horse fretted after a fall at obstacle 19 amid rain and mire. Her mother Queen Elizabeth II and other royals watched from a reviewing stand as veterinarians assessed the mount.
