Winston-Salem native Robert B. Chambers has become account executive at Wachovia Insurance in High Point after leaving Charleston South Carolina. A Guilford College economics graduate, he holds a BA from Guilford and has prior real estate and community service roles including Jaycees and United Community Services. He studied at the North Carolina School of the Arts, taught classical guitar, is married with one child, and has prior charity and preschool involvement.
Dr Stephen A. Hyman will open a dental office Monday at 104 W Northwood St Greensboro in association with Dr Marshall H Solomon. Hyman son of Samuel Hyman of High Point earned degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Stephen L. Mahovlich, age 30, is promoted within North Carolina National Bank to consumer credit officer. He joined NCNB in 1965 as an adjuster after earlier work in Winston-Salem with Associates Finance Corp. He is the son of Stephen G. Mahovlich and Mrs. Mahovlich of Monessen Pennsylvania, married to Sandra J. Andrew of Winston-Salem, with two sons Stephen Jr. and Matthew. He is a Wake Forest University graduate, class of 1963 in business administration.
